# Case Study: Out of the box WES Integration

Recently, we tackled a complex challenge for a cold storage warehouse that needed a work around for their WMS to allow them to increase their inventory capacity. Their Warehouse Execution System (WES) lacked the ability to directly allocate replenishment inventory to buffer locations for efficient order fulfillment, and there was no API that would enable this.

**The Solution:**

We developed a custom Java application that seamlessly integrates with the WES.

**The Outcome:**

- Optimized Inventory Allocation: Effectively allocated inventory to buffer locations based on real-time demand and capacity constraints.
- Streamlined Order Fulfillment: Improved order picking accuracy and efficiency.
- Enhanced Warehouse Capacity: Maximized warehouse utilization and enabled the fulfillment of increased order volumes.
